Higher Ground Men's Conference: Suspended

After much prayer and mission-focused conversation, Prodigals International’s Board of Directors and Senior Staff made the difficult decision to suspend our Higher Ground Men’s Conferences in 2024.  While we loved bringing this event to PNW Christian men and churches we are now focusing on a critical need to strengthen and buildout capacity for our men’s 12-step recovery groups, and our women’s 12-step betrayal trauma support groups.

Going forward, we’d love to hear from you – our Higher Ground community – and learn how your men are doing. In a culture ripe with social media posturing and workplace one-upmanship, Higher Ground Men’s Conference equips men to live an authentic faith – as brothers, sons, fathers, husbands, and leaders in the workplace – by building genuine friendship with God and with other men. As we begin to emerge from the stress and isolation of the pandemic, Higher Ground calls men to a resilient vulnerability to gain strength for the journey.

We’re on mission to educate and equip the next generation of men of faith to THRIVE with a life of wholeness. Today’s hyper-sexual culture and media threaten to derail men and teenage boys on a daily basis. Innuendo, sexual objectification, and the ever-increasing accessibility to pornography seek to destroy what it means to be an authentic male.  Come out of the shame game to find grace and support to win the battle for integrity.

Jesus came that we would have life and have it more abundantly.  Higher Ground encourages men to take a deeper dive into understanding their God-given gifts, passions and abilities to build a life of meaning and purpose. Living in agreement with God’s design for men, is about living a life that thrives – personally, professionally and spiritually.
