Spiraling Up 1 (Full Presentation): Opening the Door for Grace, Instead of Sin Management, to Change Us
It’s not hard for men to begin spiraling down into a deep sense of shame over this very addictive behavior with regard to the objectification of women and their bodies. Particularly, when the culturally instinctive approach of sin management is not sustainable and moral failure continues to repeat itself. Grace, God’s redemptive power for change, is not something we can will into existence. This session will help us work within His design for us as men by helping us to set the table for grace to be present so that a power of transformation can be released. Then we can experience a reversal in our tendency to spiral down into shame and, instead, map a pathway towards change.
NOTE: This session will be the FULL PRESENTATION and may not leave much room for questions. Men who may have attended Steve’s session in previous years may prefer to attend “Spiraling Up 2” which features more time for Q&A.
Here’s what last year’s attendees had to say about Spiraling Up:
“Fantastic. Profound message and very relevant to every Christian’s struggle today. His perspective was challenging and effective.”
“Steve had a great presentation. As he got into his presentation, I became more entwined. I appreciated his research on men’s ministry being the #1 ministry in growing a church.”
